Default O2 Sensor problems.. Installing and nothing changes

I've been having issues with the O2 sensors for a while! I have replaced them all with relatively cheap ones off Ebay.. They have not once stopped the SES light...
Are these defective O2 sensors or is there possibly another underlying issue??

Can you view live data from the o2 sensors with your scanner?
If you can, you want to see if the front two sensors are switching at all or if they're in a permanent failure state.

You also want to determine if the wiring to the sensors is intact and functioning.

Can't help you with the torque converter pending code I'm afraid.

As said before. Check for activity from both front sensors. Also, check wiring from O2 sensor to ECU.. Both front O2 sensors dropiping out at the same time is highly unlikely.

The cheap sensors from eBay do not work. I tried them and so have a decent number of other people I've talked to, they're trash. The seller gave me a refund and didn't even want them back which leads me to believe they know they don't work but sell them anyway. Get a refund and buy the genuine Bosch sensors from Amazon. They've got the cheapest price around.

Just a thought here. Did you clear the codes after replacing them. Mine did not clear themselves. They may have to go thru x-number of cycles before they clear themselves.
edit: x2 on the cheap sensors, I went that route, had to buy the Bosch 15175 and 15630. I got lucky and found an ebayer that had new set(all 4) and paid 30.00 each.

Interestingly enough. I just had a replacement front Bank 2 Bosch sensor fail a day after install. No oiling of the connector, it just died. Replaced it with the sensor I'd intended for the front bank 1 position and everything is back to working as intended.

Hi, Are those the right part numbers? I saw part numbers all over places but there are so many of them for 2003 which I am looking for. Are there differences? Some Bosch sensors for the 2003 goes above $120.00 each.
Thanks

Bosch 15175 upstream for D2
Bosch 15630 downstream for D2
Amazon has the 15175 for 55.19 (amazon prime)
Amazon has the 15630 for 45.23
These are for the 99-04 with the Bosch Engine Management System.
