Default o2 sensors

Advance auto says that the o2 sensors for a '99 dII, before the cats. are different than a '00 dII..

99 dII's are $150 ea.
00 DII's are $75 ea.

What's the dif??

There's no difference, unless they're getting a '99 D1 mixed up with '99 D2?? IDK, but roverconnection sells them for $65 front or rear.

I would put money that the 99 they looked up was a D1. That's about the right price for a D1 O2 sensor.

I thought he looked it up wrong, too.. So I went to bosch's website, and that showed the '99 and '00 are dif part #'s.. And they did list an option for the dI or DII for the '99..

It doesn't make any difference what the technical difference is, but yes the front and rear 02's are different and must be ordered accordingly.

Both Disco II's....

Both front o2 sensors...

One a '99 and the other a '00

Bosch's website gives two different part numbers???

FYI i'm buying the bosch's because they're usually in stock at most parts stores near me.. If there's any problems with them there's a replacement just a few blocks away...

update..

Bosch's website says part# 13927 for '99 DII, $150 locally

Same website says Part #15175 for '00 DII, $75 locally

Any Ideas while I await a call from the bosch technician.???
I'm thinking waiting a few days from rover connection is not soo bad....

Just a quick question on this subject. I have never successfully changed the o2 sensors, but I have tried to remove them in my wife's car before. Are they standard "righty tighty lefty loosey", or are they reverse threaded for some strange reason? I actually used an o2 socket and an impact on one on my wife's car and it wouldn't budge.
