just so you know, I don't think Obama is going to come take away my truck. I voted for him. I think it's a good plan, but I think it would be better if they didn't destroy the credited vehicles, maybe just make them "totalled" so you could never get a title on it, just think how cheap used parts would be and the truly frugal people in the states would be able to keep cars running forever cheaply. I hardly drive my Rover in the warm weather because the mileage sucks, but in the winter up here, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

You, Sir, have clearly not driven a Prius! It really is a remarkable little car, quite a feat of engineering! They're amazingly spacious inside, and have pretty good cargo room in that little hatch. I'm pretty sure it has more leg-room in the back seat than my Rover. Hell, my Lexus IS 300 had as much leg room as the Rover!

I don't doubt the any vehicle that gets a crap load of miles per gallon is not a modern marvel of engineering but yet it is still a free country and I will drive whatever the f*(& I want to and if you a have room for the flying circus in your Prius then more power to you, I bought my LR for its 4wheelin attributes only and knowing it got Valdez type mileage. As Bobby Brown would say it is my prerogative!!!
