Default OBDII code help and rough Idle on 2004 discovery II

Hi there,
I recently bought a 2004 disco. The service engine light intermittently comes on. I went to advanced auto and had the codes read. P0308, P0208, P1319. When this happens the vehicle idles rough and loss of power. It seems to only happen when the vehicle is warm, then goes away. from googling the OBDII codes I see its an 8th cylinder misfire. My disco has 78k on the clock, had new plugs, wires, and coil pack 3 months ago. Is it the injector? fuel pump?

Thanks for your help!

Mine did the same. Was head gaskets, sucking coolant into #8 when it warmed up and pressurized.
However, yours seems to be fuel related by your codes?

Thanks for the replies. I haven't noticed any drop in the coolant level yet, I'll be keeping an eye on it for a few days and see what happens.

Oh and yes, by codes it throws an 8th cylinder misfire and injector circuit issue

What kind of gas do you use?

dirty or failed injectors could be one cause.

have you done an injector cleaning or used seafoam or techron fuel additives and top tier 92 octane fuel?

I've yet to run a full tank of gas through it since the beginning of ownership. When I bought it it had 1/4 tank. I put some Lucas injector cleaner in and filled it the rest of the way up with 91 octane. The SES light went away and all was well for a week. Then the same troubles came back. Pulled the plug tonight and it seems a awful black for only having 3k on it. I have't compared it to the other plugs yet as I drove it to the local auto part store and it's too hot to look. Currently the SES light is off but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it comes back.

If you have the means, check compression on #8. Mine had a blown head gasket and was sucking in oil on the downstroke.

Ok, I will try and check compression this weekend. I'm pretty sure it's the injector.

That code for the injector is an electrical fault. Meaning the wiring, the coil in the injector, the injector plug, or the ecu have a problem. Nothing to do with compression or head gaskets. When I have seen Bosch ECU's go bad it has always been a injector driver or coil driver. You need to isolate that circuit at the ECU, And check resistance while driving. Don't connect it to a light bulb to check resistance because the injector may open and dump a ton of fuel into that cylinder. EDIT: Its kind of a tough diagnosis for a shade tree guy.
