We have a gas station that sells 100 octane in Scottsdale, AZ. We have run race gas in 2 stroke dirt bikes with amazing results, so I think it would be the same for our Rovers. I would think the computer would adjust timing to account for the slower burn. I would run this 50/50 with 91 if it wasn't so far out of my way.

Here in Ontario Canada we have 87,89,91,94
87 is $1.20 a litre 91 is at $1.35 a litre

if this was my primary everyday to work vehicle I would not a chance own a disco
I have a work van so I’m ok

one of the reasons I want to inport a diesel from somewhere where they drive on the left hand

diesel is $1.14 a litre and I’m guessing you can go up to 800 km on a tank
now that’s a deal

redwhitekat you lucky dog, here just outside of Vancouver it is 1.35 for regular, 91 is pushing 1.50, filling the beast up is a painful experience. At least I work from home and we have the wife's little Ford for everyday stuff.

Also, I am conflicted or rather weary of using 7-11 gas regardless of grade. The lack of detergents is what concerns me but, maybe being non-ethanol it is a moot point.
Ive been using their 89 in my 18 Power Wagon and their 91 in my wife’s 15 Discovery Sport since they opened last month. No real difference in performance but I’ve noticed an immediate and marked improvement in MPG since I’ve been using their gas. I mean 15 MPG in my Power Wagon? I’ll tale that over the 13 I was getting. Maybe I timed it with a seasonal blend change?

I’m actually more worried about other station’s fuel. With so many “real gas” stations around, it often makes me wonder if some don’t cheat. That why I stick to one or two stations for my regular fill ups.

Im not worried about power/performance gains out of the Disco 2s. I just want efficiency and compliance to what they were meant to run. Sounds like it won’t hurt to try it.

I run non ethanol in my 2000 w/ 160k. If I can’t make it to the one station with non ethanol I lose at least 1.5-2 MPG. I keep a log and it never fails when I have to use 10% ethanol gas, MPG drops. Just my experience .

that being said, i would love to be able to find ethanol free 93 octane fuel in Saint Louis.
You're from STL? I'm about 2.5 hours south around Black River / Clearwater Lake. You ever down this way?

Oh nice! I'm down the road right by K bridge by about 5 miles. Lots of trails out this way and especially on your side of the river down BB Highway. Although looking to sell our house and 17+/- acres.
