Default Off road problems with hardware

Ok so I just bent my second track rod and broke the bearings for the second time. Luckily I kept the first one and did some repairs to it and kept it in the back seat so I wasn't stranded but I am rather disappointed in this things weakness.

Does anyone know of a HD version? I did contemplate welding a bar to it for structure but it would just make the bearings a weak point and I would rather it bend and I can get home than snap.

What bearings did you break?

Muffler bearings probably. I doubt it'd be his track rod bearings.

Luckily the replacement is pretty easy:

Great picture!!!!

I agree with the earlier reply, if you keep having problems, but the chrome molly set from RTE and you will never look back. I was luck and found a used set earlier this year saving me a bunch. Bottom line, your steering will be much stronger and less prone to even bending.
