Default Off road tire size on stock wheel

I'm sure it's been asked a million times but I am looking for some tires around 31" or so that will fit on the 16" stock rim. How wide should the tire be and also are there any issues with the 31" ?

you have a two inch lift why would a 31 inch tire be a problem. at stock 18 inch tire is almost 30 inches.

245/75/16 for a 31" or a 265/75/16 for a 32" tire. Just remember the larger the tire the low your MPG by at least 1 to 1.5 GPM and a loss of long end torque.

Based on a calculator:
The 255/55-18 stock tire is 29.0".
The 255/65-16 stock tire is 29.1".
The 245/75-16 only comes in at 30.5".
The 265/75-16 comes out as 31.65".
The 235/85-16 comes in at 31.7".

Always check the mfgr specs, as some tires run a little larger like the BFG MT KM2s.
