Really good question, what are the unique parts that would leave you stranded, I hear crankshaft sensor is one of them

In todays day and age...have you thought about a small generator? Emergency, dead battery, dead cell phone?

Check out overlandbound.com or expeditionportal.com forums. You'll find a lot of information there

12v fridge/freezer is a game-changer

To hard to add text to pictures.

Cooking utensils, cook stove, food/plates, sleeping bags, boots/cold weather gear, grand son and water.

Bring a good supply of tools, recovery gear, camp chairs, canopy, electrical items (bulbs, wire, e-tape, fuses, connectors, etc), first aid kit, fire extingisher, compass/matches, camp protection (9mm), flashlights/headlamps (several), snacks, bb-gun for grandson, maps of area and common sense. Most folks bring a cell, but nine times out of ten...we camp where there's no signal.

Brian.
