Oil Leak

I went to the jiffy quick lube center today to get my oil changed and they informed me that I have a massive oil leak and when I asked how low the oil level was when I brought it in they replied that it was full. They also said that it was leaking when the engine was under pressure at the rear main seal. If the engine was full when I took it in and the last time I checked the oil between the last oil change I think they are idiots. When I look under the truck it has oil underneath in the front of the block, so maybe I do have a leak. anyone have an experience with this? I am driving an 00 D2 with 113K.
Thanks,
Kelly

Instead of asking us, people who can't crawl under Your truck to verify the leak and where it is coming from, why don't you do that and then get back to us with some specifics, even a picture if you can.
By the way if you are going to waste you money at a quick Lube type place, at least go buy and take a good oil filter with you for them to install, theirs are pure junl in a can.

Kelly, no worries, Rovers leak.
But take it to the coin operated DIY carwash and clean the engine, wash under it too if you can, DO NOT use the high pressure wash when doing this.
Then drive for a day or two and look for leaks.
Here are the most common ones.
1-valve cover gaskets, you can fix for $5.
2-power steering hoses
3-oil pan gasket
4-oil pressure sending unit
Any leak will be hard to find on dirty engine, the oil will run to the back of the engine as you drive, you know, wind and all.
If the oil level was full then you dont have a massive oil leak, but accumulated oil over time can look like a massive leak.
Clean the engine, find the leak and then get back to us.
