heck i dont think i am going to deal with problems. what would a guy expect to get out of a nice "motorless" 2003 black disco s7 with some real nice rocker panels???

Well, see what the shop techs tell you tomorrow, maybe a new oil pump will take car of it. Hope that your crankshaft, rod and main bearings are OK.

03's are selling in the $8000 to $9000 range, take away the engine and required engine and labor and you will only get something in the $2000 range.
You need to deal with this.

so they are saying its just the oil pump and engine damage did not occur. guess ill have them fix that and maybe get another 70000 miles out of it..

Just wanted to update the oil pump issue with my Disco. Got a new oil pump, water pump, belt, oil, gaskets etc.. She runs proud..... Thanks for all the information.

not too sure about that. there is a lot i could have done with the 1500 this cost me. oh well she does run really good now. so is it possible to lose power when your oil pump is failing? now it seems the truck has more power more get up and go.
