Default Oil pan

Trying to drop my oil pan to change my front cover gasket. I have all the bolts and nuts off. I think there was 24 bolts and 3 nuts. I've been trying to pry this thing down for half an hour but she just won't budge. What am I missing?

I'm not sure on the count, but did you get the ones pointint to the read of the car, around the rubber inspection hole plugs? The two running straight up at the bell housing? Did the previous person etc the whole pan?

Have you taken a look at the rave? If you are certain you got all the bolts use a dead blow hammer and knock it off

Got it! When in doubt, get a bigger pry bar. A good 1" of sludge in the bottom of the sump being cleaned out..... now to remove the front cover. fml

Just be careful when prying on aluminum...especially of this age. Easily cracked. We had a michigan land rover group member just crack his in the same method. Rubber mallet is a much better option, tapping from side to side. Glad prying worked out for you.
