Default Oil pan won't drop

Greetings, trying to get the oil pan off so I can change the front cover gasket on my 2002 DII. I got all of the bolts and nuts off, but the pan won't budge. I carefully tried to put a flathead screwdriver in different places. It moved a little, but would not come off. Any suggestions would be appreciated

How many bolts did you remove? IIRC there are 14. Two of them are somewhat hidden at the bottom.

Edit: Totally wrong count number. I was thinking back to the post of separating engine from transmission that slightly involved the oil pan.

X2. Yeah, there are two WAAAAAYYY up there. They go up into the block. Fairly near the center line of the engine, adjacent to the bell housing. You need like a 12" extension. Did you see those?

Yes, that last one on the driver side up high was a bear, had to go buy a longer extension. I checked 4 times, all bolts and nuts off.

Have you tried hitting it with a rubber mallet? Maybe the PO used some Permatex Right Stuff on it. It would be a bear to get off.

count how many nuts & bolts you have and compare the number to the number in the rave, you should have 2 more than the manual tells you.

I have 20 bolts and 3 nuts. There are 2 more? Are they not shown in the RAVE doc?

Look at these photos and see if you missed any of the bolts.
