Default OME Lift Installed!

1st off : Props to Lucky8 for their helpful videos as well as good communication and fast drop-shipping on the lift kit.

Had a day off of work yesterday and I was able to take advantage of some nice weather here and get my medium duty 2" OME kit (777, 781, 600024, 600025) from Lucky8 installed! The phrase "If I can do it, anyone can" really applies here, so if anyone doubts if they can get this job done, you can do it, because I did

Took me about 6 hours "out the door" this includes test drive, cleaning up the garage and fixing my "mystery coolant leak" I found when I lifted up the coolant reservoir (another failed stock clamp that I had missed). All in all, it was pretty straightforward, the challenges I had were getting the shock tower up and out on the front drivers side without destroying the ABS and SAI lines. Lining up the bottom bolts of the front shocks to get them secured down, and getting the rear axle low enough to fit the rear springs in. I did NOT remove the rear sway bars and that might have been why I had issue lowering the axle, I had to get creative but I made it work.

Tools & Misc Items Used/Needed :
Stock Bottle Jack
Floor Jack
2 Jack Stands
19mm ratcheting wrench & standard ratchet
13mm ratcheting wrench, standard ratchet and standard wrench
12mm ratcheting wrench & standard ratchet (for rear calipers)
18" breaker bar
PB Blaster for all bolts
Anti-Seize (for shock and caliper bolts)
Dielectric Grease (for ABS sensor connectors)
Loc-tite (for shock tower nuts)
Patience

With a second person I can see this job taking much less time, but like I said I am a novice at best so being able to get it done in the time I did, I was very pleased. I drove it about 50 miles this morning to work and the ride is great, feels much more firm and solid (makes me realize how "bouncy" it was on the stock suspension). I felt like it was a tiny bit more squirly on the highway, but I might just be hyper-sensitive, either way HUGE IMPROVEMENT.

Keys are with Goodyear right now and it is awaiting new rubber, so I'll get some more pictures up once they are mounted.
