Default OME lift instructions?

Hey, I just got in the mail my OME 1.5in HD lift. Theres no doubt in my mind that I can put this on with my friends help...but does anyone know where I can get some sort of instructions so that I do everything in the right order?
Thanks for any help!

On www.discoweb.org they have a tech section and in that section they have a walkthrough for a OME 3" lift, I would imagine that installation would be identical.

It's been a while since I installed my lift, but we used a spring compressor (the kind that you screw manually) that goes inside the spring. It only worked on the front (it can be pulled through the shock tower) because there's no way to remove it for the rears (capped on top and bottom). We didn't have to disconnect the sway bar up front but we had to for the rears to slide the spring in. These are the 2" RTE's so you might have an easier time with the 1.5's. Check out the RAVE maunal. They don't cover the front spring, but read the damper removal (Repairs 60-37) and that'll get you most of the way. The rear spring (Repairs 64-27) and the shocks (Repairs 64-29). Get the extension for the socket wrench to get at the bolt through the engine bay, like an 18" or even 24" one. Check out DiscoWeb's Tech section and posts. There's a lot of info there too on doing the lift. Here it is. I used it and it was a great help. Good luck!!

The suspension is easy to install, make sure you use lots of penetrating fluid on all bolts and nuts so you don't shear any off.
Make sure that you put the correct r/f spring in, may be marked with an "A", if you don't the front end will not be level.
By the way, exactly what coils did you buy by part number, will you be installing a bumper and winch?

I got the 762's and 779's. I do plan on installing a bumper but dont have one yet. Iam installing this sunday, but am having problems finding 16" wheels at some local shops. They all tell me they dont have anything to fit my disco. Currently Iam the high bidder on some DI 16" wheels an Ebay. So, hopefully I can be patient and win the auction instead of buying some overpriced wheels. After I figure out the wheel situation I plan on putting 265/75r16's on them. So I might be driving around on my stock wheels and tires for a week.haha.

The eBay auction is for wheels from a D1??? You know the bolt pattern is completely different than that of the D2. If the auction is in fact for a D1 set of wheels, back out of it now before you get stuck with a set that won't fit. I have my set of 16" alloy's I'm trying to sell, if the eBay deal falls through. If you're interested I can send you links to photos of each wheel, they're just sitting in my garage right now.

Well, I said D1's cause they are not the hurricane wheels on my 2002. I didnt put too much thought into it. Here is the link, tell me what ya'll think... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m32#ht_500wt_0

p.s.-Are your wheels from a disco or some other wheels? If the Ebay ones are wrong for me Iam definitely interested!

Thanks again...Iam still learning the ways of the land rover.
