Default OME medium springs and stock size tires?

Anyone running an OME medium spring lift and stock size tires? If so can you post pictures please. I can get a really good deal on the lift but my bigger tires would have to wait so I just want to see what it would look like if I did the springs and ran the stock tires for a while.

That's what my setup is. It looks fine in my opinion, better than stock suspension with stock tires. I'll try to post a pic of mine tomorrow.

If you could post a pic or two that would be great.

Ok, here you go. Stock size 16" tires with 2" OME lift - I'm pretty sure they're medium front and heavy rear springs, can't remember the part numbers.

Nice rig. You didn't have to change brake lines or mess with the driveshaft did you? I would think with a 2" lift you can get away without touching them.

Thanks, she's a bit dirty though. I installed the lift because I had a broken front spring (never would have seen it if weren't put on a lift during an inspection). So I decided to upgrade. Bigger tires will be next but these have a lot of tread left and I decided they are fine for now and what I do (plus they're dedicated winter/snow tires which is really what I want right now). A 2" lift is super easy to install, the new coils just swap in for the old one's. No messing with the brake lines or anything. You'll want to replace the rubber spring pads in the back, but that is it (and probably shocks too of course). I love how much higher you sit now, it actually feels like a truck again.

Thanks for the pictures. Do you have before and after height measurements? I've heard the OME medium springs are more of a 1.5" lift than a 2" lift.

Alex, how tall is the measurement of your front and rear tires from the ground to the wheel well molding? You will get about 2"s from where you are right now because your old suspension a dropped so much since new.
Who are you buying your lift from, what shocks will you be using and are you getting the H.D. shocks? If not from Lucky 8, check out his prices

I looked in the rave for height specs and my D2 is still in the specified OEM height range. The front is on the low end of the OEM spec but I have a 30 pound brush bar with lights and a slightly larger than stock battery. I haven't decided on shocks yet because I'm going to switch to 16" wheels and 31" tires before I order the lift. I'm getting my springs from an OME retailer in CA but because of the price I'm getting them for I can't say who because I'm sure its well below MAP pricing.

$698 from , http://www.lucky8llc.com/Search.asp?Manu=OME
and that includes the OME Sports shocks, all you then will need is a new steering stabilizer.
Do not make the mistake of buying some other after market shock, with the exception of Bilsteins, or you will not have the ride and control you are looking for.
