My engine rebuild ate my lift money.
But, my plan is a 2" lift, steel front and rear bumpers, front and rear skidplates and differential guards, and front mounted winch. Possibly roof rack and ladder later for a canoe. Which ever shocks, dampner, and +2" ss brake lines too.
I don't carry anything heavy, so am thinking medium duty.
But, it seems everything I read is sagging springs.
I want a full 2" of front and rear lift, without HD springs beating me up.
I also will be super pissed and returning any springs that don't lift or maintain 2".
I hear TF springs paint comes off quickly, but I don't care, I would have them powder coated black anyway.
Any advice is appreciated.
Everything I read is conflicting, X springs sagged after 200 miles, Y springs will beat you up on the road, ect.
Jeff is correct, go HD for sure. I put TF 2" Medium all the way around about 4-5 years ago along with shocks because I run zero after market steel AND the rears sagged out, my last few overland trips when fully loaded up, I really sag, and it drove/handled funny. I still have the mediums on the front, and I'm still happy with them for now. When I replace the front coils, I'll buy OME Heavy.

Thanks, and from what I read the OME lifts are good stuff, but more like 1.5" lift, not quite 2"

Yeah, pair the OME's with some combination of trim packers, d1 seats, isolators, and/or spacers. So far I'm really happy with the OME rear's. I still have RTE in the front for now. I had Terrafirma HD for my first lift, but they quickly wore out and/or couldn't keep up with my weight. I'd bottom out way too easily.

So, 1.5" HD OME springs with 1" spacers?
The springs shouldn't sag, and the suspension shouldn't be brutally stiff?
That is with bumpers, skidplates, winch weight, ect.
Sorry for all the questions, it's just hard to find good first hand info reading old posts.
I appreciate the time you guys have taken on this again.

It's hard to say exactly how they'll perform, but after trying the three different brands, I think OME is the way to go. I have 763's in the rear, with d1 seats, upper isolator, and a 2" spacer. Netting me ~3.5" lift

I think the OME 762 for the rear and 779 for the front is what you're after.

Thank you sir!
So, those springs are roughly 1.5", just different rates.
And I should add a 1" spacer too, correct?

1" spacer, or do

Rears:
D1 seats (3/8" lift) (should also use Terrafirma spring retainers)
stack 2 OME trim packers for 20mm lift

I recommend shopping for the trim packers and OME springs on expeditionexchange.com

I don't know about fronts, haven't done anything there as the RTE's have enough lift on their own.

Just went through all this myself - I was given a full set of Terrafirma Springs and OME shocks, used for about 8 months by the PO. I tried to figure out if the combination was compatible. Turn out they were but here is some info I found out about springs :

TerraFirma Springs

TF023V Medium Load Rear Specification: 300-340 lbf/in, free length driver's side 420mm, free length passenger's side 410mm.
TF027V Heavy Load Rear Specification: Spring rate 360 lbf/in, free length driver's side 420mm, free length passenger's side 410mm.
TF042 Medium Load Front Springs Specification: Spring rate 180 lbf/in, driver's side free length 385mm, passenger's side free length 375mm.

OME

2762 Rear Spring rate 300/340 Driver side 420 Passenger side 410
2777 Front Spring rate 180 Driver side 395 passenger side 375 spring rate 180

They are damm near the same spring - I find it interesting people are finding the Terrafirma seem to wear faster.

Does your truck sit level?
Do you have any extra weight on it, bumpers, skid plates, etc?
I wonder why the passenger springs are shorter?
