I had a chance a few months ago to get an 06 S/C Sport for dirt.
Was gonna swap the S/C engine, ancillaries, and ace into my LR3.
Luckily, I came to my senses.

I'd rather just drive the rrs. They are so freakin' nice looking.

I wouldn't recommend that Ford V6.

Timing chains. My God, the timing chains.

I have always liked the look if the lr3 but would have to have a bumper with the tire on the back. That looks like a good deal.

I agree. If I found one that was equipped right I would actually consider ditching my Disco for one. Better mileage, more reliable, bigger, nice looking.

I'd have one.

It's probably a scam, being priced that far below book is a sure sign.

It's actually above book value, I just put the specs into KBB and even excellent at that mileage was $8768. These trucks are finally coming down haha.

i can't help it, i think the LR3/LR4 trucks are just straight up ugly. i'll take the disco any day, even with the associated headaches.

I agree this is probably priced right with the 6 cyl, 5 passenger and the mileage. Did the LR3 have a locking center diff in all trucks?

The things that I like most about the Discovery 3 and 4 begin with a newer more reliable engine. No more Rover V8 with all its many issues. Next is the increased space and size. Next is the interior materials and presumably improved interior insulation (from road noise to cold drafts). Most of all is the air suspension and the road response system.
