OML, B&B spark plug wires
I was just about to order a set of 8mm magnecor spark plug wires when I found these on ebay. 1/3rd the price with 100% positive feedback. Does anybody have an opinion on these?

It would be nice to havemore than once choice for plug wires.

Don't mess with any wires off of e-bay, order the magnacor wires, they are hard to install, if on a D2 and you don't want to do it twice, when the no name wires fail.
mike, everything is for sale on e-bay including magnacor wires so you really cant use that to disqualify them. However, I would like to find somebody that has bought them and see what they say. If it wasn't for the huge price difference and 100% feedback from over 1,100 buyers I would not even consider this brand.
puerto rico is not the first country that comes to mind when I think of quality automotive parts, but just about everything else is made in china now days.

Those wires are $30, and the Magnecor's are $111. I think $81 is good insurance to not have to replace the wires after (potentially) a few months. The feedback isn't at all a good representation of the quality of the parts you purchase. Just looking at the feed back most everyone says it was "shipped quickly", or "a good transaction". There's really nothing about the reliability of the wires in the feedback. No one will come back if the wires crap out and leave negative feedback, that's not why it's there. If you plan to install them yourself, and don't mind the chance of doing it all over again, I say go for it and report back on the they hold up against the heat. That's just how I see the situation so take it with a grain of salt.
I vote for the Magnecores. You can probably get a comparable plug to the one's on ebay at auto ghetto but the quality will probably not be good. Plus as mentioned earlier, the PIA level of putting plug wires on a DiscoII may make it worth buying the Magnecores and trying the generic plug wires out on something that's easier to work on. There is a heck of a lot of heat generated under the hood and cheap wires don't last. IMHO.
Greetings,
Thanks for the interest in our wires. We are currently one of the first companies to distribute the wires in the USA. They are extremely popular in PR and they have just started to catch on here in the states. As a gesture to the Land Rover community we will offer a 100% Money back guarantee. Meaning if a forum member purchases the wires, receives them, and you are unhappy with them...simply send them back and we will credit you on the same method you made payment. Please post your findings on here as we would love to earn the business of other forum members.

I wouldn't say we have been limiting our selves, just covering our back sides. In the past, we have used the one wire set that has long since proven it self, if this new company wants to give this type of coverage, that is good. My biggest concern is the labor to replace failed wires.
If any one tries them and is still pleased at 6 months, I hope they get back to us.
