One fix solved two problems
Just wanting to let you all know I was able to fix my cruise control today while trying to fix my brake light issue. I was told by my friend that had followed me home yesterday that my brake lights where on the whole time. After doing some web research I discovered it could be my brake light switch at the pedal. Checked it out this afternoon and sure enough was not engaging when brake pedal wasn't pressed. Looked like the rubber on the switch had worn off. I put a spacer around the pedal with some old hosing and tie strapped it down to bring it in closer to switch. Allowed my brake lights to go out and sure enough cruise control started working.
When I got the D2 a few weeks ago didn't even think to check and see if brake lights where working.
