The Tacoma is available with locking diffs. I remember not too long ago, a well known 4x4 mag did a showdown between a 4x4 Tacoma with the locking diffs ( and I think CDL also but not sure) and A Jeep TJ Rubicon. And believe it or not the Tacoma won...mostly due to the longer wheelbase, but it still won.

So the point I wanna make here,is that the Tacoma is an incredible vehicle off-road, and always remember that most people will vouch for what they drive and will usually **** on their old vehicles. On that last comment, just look here for example......anytime there's a 'which is better all around, a D1 or a D2' you'll see the D1 guys telling the thread starter to get a D1, and the D2 guys telling him to get a D2.

 

Yes I bought a black out, but to tell you the truth I havent put it on yet. When I do I have promised some others to put pics up, so keep an eye out for that. But I will say I have been in a disco with a blackout (it was a yellow disco) and i can honestly say any glare you have now will be gone once you put a black out on. I had a 98 Disco with the 4 PIAA's on the rack,went out once (White by the way)and the next day pick'd up a anti glare patch,and was well worth it....
