Outside parking with squirrels and chipmunks
My D2 is returning to me as my son takes a different car to college.
Other than a few weekends running trails and trips to Home Depot it will be parked a lot. We have a bunch of squirrels and chipmunks were it is parked outside. I've even found acorns under the air filter.
Does anyone have and suggestions to help keep them away so they don't nest or chew up the wiring other than driving it every couple of days?
Thanks,

I have same issues and have had a lot of luck with cotton ***** (you can use makeup remover pads also) with peppermint extract. You want the concentrated oil for scent, not the kind for cooking.
I put some in the air box and around intake manifolds where they usually nest. On my vehicles that still have hood insulation mats, I just spray some on and around it.
I am a beekeeper so I can't/don't use a lot of chemicals or mothballs.
