Well i had a question to ask i bought my 02 D2SE in 2006 with 86k miles on the clock at the time it had no known issues pain was in excelent condition interior very taken care of has all the goodies but the 2 rear seats. now at the time i payed 12k for it do you guys think i over payed or was it a decent deal?

 

So, you're asking if you got a good deal 2 years ago?? That sounds about right, but I wasn't into Rover's until late '07, when I paid $10k for my '01. That was right before gas went through the roof and everyone was unloading them for way less than that. Even with gas going down you'll not get what you paid for it today.

 

I paid 13.2k for a 2001 Disco SE with 75,000 miles on it in 2006. I would say you got a pretty good deal...

 

am not looking to sell it i know the value of it now is in the mid 6k or low 7kbut i was alway curious but yea i feel i got a pretty decent deal

 

Now that would be just an "ok" deal, but in 2006 it was a pretty good deal I would say.

 

$12,500 for a 2000 with 78,000 in late '06.

 

1500 for D1 1995 with issues when gas was 4 bucks a gallon (3 months ago)

 

I just paid 10k for a perfect 41000 mile 2004 disco. VERY pleased with the deal

 

I paid $10,900 for a 2001 SE with 68k in 2007 (in excellent shape)

 

I paid $3700 for a 97 LSE with 108,000 miles and a few minor problems.
