Ive read through the postings concerning the M and S lights and the P0305 codes separately, but what if these issues all occurred simultaneously?

With the m and s the transmission clearly stays in 3rd gear. The battery is only 2 months old so i don't think its a voltage issue. Obviously it could be the xyz sensor, but would that also trigger the p0305 and cel? The m and s can reset by turning the truck off then back on...

Should i be worried about any other transmission or engine issues?

We were planning on taking a trip with this vehicle soon, so didnt know if it was going to require immediate maintenance.
