P1000 reference mark detector fault (reluctor wheel)

Default P1000 reference mark detector fault (reluctor wheel)

My D2 4,6 motronic got that error - it`s cam sensor or crankshaft sensor ?

P1000 is a generic fault code. Just clear it, drive it around and check for faults again.
I recently got the same code for an “Engine Thermostat Defective”. Weird…
