Default Pain in the Wallet!

Just thought I would pass along the pain I just experienced at the local gas station. I knew it was going to be bad when I pulled up but I was still shocked when I pulled out.
23 Gallons of 93 Octane
$4.60/gal
$106 total
...And I didn’t even get a t-shirt

The only good thing was I got 13 miles to the gallon on my last tank. Not bad for an ’04 with a SD roof rack and lights, also have 88,888 miles.
Stat strong guys…

This was June 2008 in Canada - when diesel was $1.44 per liter (around $5.80 per gallon) That was the highest I saw it on that trip but it was also over $5/gal here in the states. Can't for the life of me remember what the excuse was for jacked up prices back then but it didn't stop us from doing a 3500 mile trip in a truck camper that got about 14 mpg.

What, pray tell, are you putting diesel fuel into?

The place where I buy gas cuts off the pump at $75.00. The manager laughed last week and told me that I'm the only person that has to run their card twice to fill their tank.
