just curious if anyone can help me with this problem, or will I have to take it to a private paint shop? I purchased my rover used and the guy that sold it to me (and my father as well) say it is dark blue, but I think it is dark green (maybe a little darker than forest green but VERY close) sometimes in certain light it looks blue but usually green. Does anyone know the factory colors (that match this description) used on an north american model disco 1 in 97? I have looked at all the (suggested) places on the truck for a paint code and could not find one.

I did, no sticker (there is a spot there where a sticker once was though and I am guessing this is where it was) I also checked at th back of engine on the firewall and also around glove box and door jambs.

I used my VIN for correct body color for touch-up paint; call the dealer, give them the VIN and they should be able to tell you the factory paint. They gave me the info for free BTW.

 

mwindth thank you I should have tried that from the start. the dealership had to call someone else and finally got back to me about an hour and a half later with "Oxford Blue"!!!
so thanks again for the suggestion, I didn't think I could get that from the VIN.
