Default Part # for Brass Fill Plug

I'm planning on doing my diff and t-case fluid change and learnt on this forum that it's a good idea to replace the plastic plugs on the diffs with brass plugs. Does anyone have a LR part number for this? Thanks.

You can also go to Home Depot and get them from plumbing supplies.

Thanks Spike. Just so that I'm completely clear - that means I can get 2 more diff drain plugs and put them in the fill holes?

And if I go the Home Depot route what kind of fitting am I looking for? Is it going to be a hex fitting like the plastic plug or a square one like the drain plug?

If you want the true brass plugs, call John at Expedition Exchange, that is where I bought mine and they are far better the the old slug plug cause they also come with a built in rubber o-ring.

Take one of your diff drain plugs to Home Depot and tell them that you need 2 more of these exact same things.
It will cost you about $5 for 2.
You can put thread tape on the threads why you put them back in. Even if you dont they wont leak.

Thanks a lot Spike and Mike. The EE brass plug certainly looks very nice but boy are they expensive. I may still get these but I'll take a look at Home Depot first.
