Does anybody know what the doohicky is that's in between the 2 defroster vents on the front dash?? It's about the diameter of a dime and 1/2 in. tall, dome shaped on top. Maybe a sensor or justsomething I paid extrafor? Not that it
really matters, I was just wondering what the **** it is.

RE: Part ID
yes, by calculating the light intensity, the sensor sends the info to the ATC ECU, which obviously is programmed as such that it can more or less work out how much solar heat (sun) is in the car, and adjust the Auto climate control accordingly. How effective it is who knows, but thats what its for.

Any doohickey can be adjusted with a bat, but a thingie usually takes a crowbar, although a tire jack can substitute as long as the angle of contact is sufficient. It is important to note, however, that a golf club works on both.

I guess doohickey is another technical term like thingy. I would bet that the doohickey can be adjusted with a football bat.
