Unhappy Parting out a 2003 Disco II in Quebec Canada

Hi all,

The time has come to get rid of our Disco and we are thinking of parting it out. It's a black 2003 5.8 SE-7.
  • The transfer case has been rebuilt 15,000 km ago, it has the CDL (that has been retrofitted) and the Ashcroft transmission CDL/hi-lo lever.
  • The engine runs well. Oil pump replaced, never overheated. Head gaskets were replaced less than 5,000 km ago. Original sleeves, not pinned.
  • ABS modulator has been rebuilt and the modification has been done to get rid of the three amigos.
  • The steering box has been replaced less than 10,000 km ago.
  • The brake booster has been replaced less that 5,000 km ago.
  • Front drive shaft is newly rebuilt and balanced.
  • New right front wheel hub assembly
  • NIB rotoflex
  • NIB fan belt
  • NIB thermostat
  • 4 brand new winter tires.
  • New battery.
  • many other good parts in it, too many to list individually.
What's wrong with it? Tranny is shot, and brake lines are corroded away. Frame is still OK but has seen better days. It just doesn't make sense anymore to keep it running.

Cheers!
Georges
