Default PAS flush 2003 Disco w/o ACE

Have a 2003 Disco that just had a 60k service done at 75k (truck is new to me as of last week). Land Rover mechanic who did the service noted the PAS resevoir was filled with ATF instead of the ACE fluid. He drained and replaced it with ACE fluid without a full flush. I've been hearing a very slight low level whine and it seems to increase when I turn the wheel all the way left or right. I'm thinking I need to do a complete flush to get all the ATF out of the steering unit and replace it with ACE fluid like the manual calls for. I do not have ACE on my Disco. Any ideas on how to go about this? I can't find a flushing procedure for the power steering in the RAVE manual. Also, is there a synthetic fluid I should use instead of the LR ACE fluid?

Thanks in advance.
