Default Passenger side carpet pad wet

Removed the seats, door sills, to get to the amp and CD Changer for the audio upgrade I am doing.

Noticed that the passenger side carpet pad is wet. REALLY WET! not soaked, but past damp in my opinion.

Where could the water be coming from?

AC drain tube. Corrugated black rubber tube in the side of trans tunnel. Just at the section where the under dash trim meets the trans tunnel towards the back of the car.

It's clogged.

Forgot to add. Use a straightened coat hanger from underneath and reem it out.

well, add to that.

It is also damp under the driver's side carpet.

Neither is wet when you feel from the top of the carpet.

I have had the windshield sealed and the seams above the windshield sealed VERY well. We kept trying to get it to leak but could not. So I doubt it is coming from there.

That was over 6 to 7 months ago. Do you still think dampness is from that long ago?

Would that explain the drives side as well?

I understand that this will let the water flow better. But is there a way to seal it so it doesn't leak in the future?

There is one on both sides.

You need them clear so the AC condensation drains out of the car.

Not so much as gush, but more like a quick dump with some sediment kind of like you find in a clogged drain but not as gross.

Also check on the inside that they are seated properly.

Can't find them on the inside. Is there anything I need to remove to get to them?
