Default Is a Performance chip worth it (Innovative Performance Chip)

So I want to have better fuel economy for my disco 2 and I've been hearing good and bad stuff about performance chips. I'm leaning on getting one however. I came across this "innovative performance chip", the link is below. I wanted to see if this is trusted and worth it and also to see if anyone possibly knows about them. Thanks

Short version
No.

Long Version.
1. The site provided couldn't provide a correct dyno chart for any vehicle selected.

2. It also just generalized every model of vehicle selected. I choose 2 models that I'm very familar with with and knowing they have two different engines over their production life span, they both got the same "performance chip"

There is another thread in the D2 section where guys are trying to organize a group buy with a reputable builder. It also means having to send your ECu to England, so you car will probably down for a week.

there are chips out there that do work but I haven't seen any for a D2.
and the chips for a d1 are like $500, so at $69.00 i be wairy.

but they do say full refund and return shipping, you could always lend them your $69,
and lets use if it works.

Its for the 14cux system though. Not sure if there's a GEMS chip. I would think there would be since the GEMS P38's came with a 4.6 and corresponding fuel map.

yes; their is an over chip set for GEMS has been for years.I should have said gems rather than D1.

iirc it is RPI engineering in the UK.

Costly; but plug and play compare to a D2,
I have investigated it, it works, works better with more improvement, such as a cam.
now you can never say I don't contribute
