I had an interesting lesson on the way to work tonight. A Dodge Neon tried to cross in front of me. I was doing 30-35MPH before I hit the brakes. I pushed his rear tire into the trunk. Disco held up very well. Didn't deploy the air bags. I am anxious about the estimate to repair. What do you guys think?

 

Yeah I wish I had already made my new bumpers. I would imagine that it would have saved me all this damage.

 

This is why i made my 20 year old daughter buy a discovery...she has a in house mechanic, she got it cheap and being living in south florida capital of the biggest fuc&&king idiot drivers on the planet , i can sleep at night knowing it would take a semi truck to really make me worry. i sleep really well. I agree with all save the planet and i wish i could run veggie oil in my td5 disco... yea right.......well thank the goverment for not letting me do that and all the third world idiots who drive trucks down here like they are in the middel of the jungle in honduras... I see a fatality every week on my way to work... really... idiots...

It's not the best solution but can you give me another?
