Default fender trimming 101 DII

She's almost done. Bill finally hit $5k in doo dads and repairs when I ordered my OME medium kit, 16" wheels and 31" tires. Wheels not yet mounted, but it's hard to imagine no rub. Them is biggie tires and little wheel arches!

Where is the most common fender point that needs trimming? Is there an ideal method? Any tips would be appreciated.

Should have gone to the OME HD springs like the 751's up front, I did and I am running 32's and no rubbing.
Before you start trimming how much off are you? You can order Rovers isolater spacers and give it another 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch raise easily.

Default RE: fender trimming 101 DII

Hey Mike,
I went with OME Medium springs and a 1" spacer kit. I got the springs and shocks installed for free because they goofed and forgot to add the dang spacers. So, I've got the spacers sitting on the floor. How hard is it to install those myself? I invision a couple broken fingers and a mega headache. Maybe it's easier than I realize.

My tires measure out to be a pretty solid 31". I've yet to have them mounted, but it just appears I'll need to do a little fender trimming. My big concern is the front portion of the front fender. Not much black fender trim there to peel back. Geeze, I can feel another $1000 bleed from my pocket as I recon aftermarket front bumpers.

Thanks for your contiunual assistance.

Chris
