Pics of cargo storage setup?
I'm looking into storage options for gear in the rear cargo area. Anyone have some pics of how they pack the back of their truck? I've been looking at Pelican cases, but wonder about a Target or Container Store setup too.

I've been looking at the Tuff Box rear cargo area storage unit. It's a secure "armored"storage box with a bearing mounted slide out locker. Looks like a slick way to carry hunting gear firearms, etc.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing those before the holidays. That might be the way to go because security is a big concern for me. One thing I don't like about the Pelican case is the portable design. I want something that isn't going to slide on my cargo liner, and isn't easily removed should someone break in again.
I have the Tuff box and I had to remove the subwoofer box
on my Disco I so it would fit, and buy a new rear door panel
so no holes were left.
It sould fit in a Disco II with no problem.

I called AB and asked about the possibility of having it strapped down. I was told the box weighs close to 100 lbs. empty, so it shouldn't move too much.
Landzu, I don't have a sub in the rear door (or a DI), but what about the pocket next to the hinges? From the pic on AB's site it looks like it would close allright.

I will see about taking some pics of the box today.
I have a 7 seater so I have no rear pockets.
I did not bolt mine down,, I did put my tools in the back of
the box if not it would tip down when I opened it.
I put my tools in the GI tool bags so they dont slide around.
The box rollers work very well, you can fit a small rifle from corner to corner but not much else, I will try to show what
I mean in the pic's.
I did not want to bolt mine down due to the fuel pump
hatch and I just did not want to drill holes.

I don't want to drill holes either. Do you think a cable lock run through the floor tie downs would work? If I get this I'd like to get the 3 inch risers so the drawer can clear the cargo liner lip too.
I may bolt a flat piece of flat steel and slide it under the
seat to keep it from tilting as far as side to side it does not have that much to move on mine so I used the rubber cups
that go under table legs and glued them to use as a bumper
up againsted the back door.
