SO after getting it back to the house, I popped the bead back on the passenger side front tire to get it rolling again and to remove the passenger side section of the front bumper which is toast. Let it sit for a couple hours upright and checked the fluids. Everything was where it was supposed to be. Fire it right up and I drove it around the yard. I'm going to need the 2 small upper rear windows, a pre-facelift passenger side taillight assembly, a windshield, gasket and the trim pieces for it, a pre-facelift passenger side headlight and blinker assembly, both roof rack bars and a passenger side electric side mirror. Then there is the body damage...
That’s a lot of damage, I would not be surprised if it a write off, as it needs a new roof, rear pillor, wing, unless you own a body shop, and have a doner in good condtion
That's a shame about the body. Good to hear it still runs, make a fine driver or trail rig at this point. Definitely still too good to be crusher bait.
OUCH! That's a whole lot of damage, hard to fix all that without a new roof and side panels....really glad your kiddo is ok after all that! That's a scary thing to go thru for both of you!
As long as the body doesn't leak and is still structurally sound, drive it as is. Those are badges of honour (or dishonour, depending on the situation).
heres a thought, why not turn in into a buggy, chop off most of the body install a strong roll cage, and make in to the ultimate off roader, a bit like a Mad Max movie car

I’ve seen a red d2 in Moab that’s been caged and turned into a soft top because of a roll over. Looked awesome

I had my roof painted & they cut the top windshield trim/seal - so I purchased a new one from rover. I had glass replaced this week and they arrived with the seal. So oddly I have that seal if you needed it..
