Default Pics of new lift installed

After an 8 hour marathon under the truck installing my new lift, it is complete. Only problem I had was one of the original shock bushings had rusted solid to the mount and had to be removed, destructively. I figure out really quick that unbolting the rear sway bar allowed me enough room to slide the new springs in without the compressor. Overall, it went really smooth for one guy working without instructions.

Looks good! If I was thinking I would have got some before pics. Now you can drive around town and get the feeling of looking down. If you had to do it again it would take half the time. Enjoy the new height!

Needs bigger tires.
To much space under the wheel wells.

I actually don't mind the looks with the current tires. That space in the wheel wells gives me extra room for the suspension to articulate without stuffing a tire in the fender. When I can afford new tires I am only going up to a 245/75.

What is the highest you think you can lift one of these? Ive got a '96 stock everything that I know of. But I want to lift it and put some 35's on it. My boyfriend was thinking we needed to lift it six inches, is that even possible?

Looking good! That comment by a member about Khols was absolutely awesome. Gave me a good laugh.

The problem with 5+ inches is that you really need to get some different driveshafts (double-double cardan in front and double cardan in back), plus probably custom radius arms (for driveable caster), or clock the transfer case (if such is even possible).... otherwise you would have a hard time driving it straight and the driveshafts would be falling off like cat hair.

Also, with 35's, new gears would be an absolute must => big money.

The Disco's I have seen with 35 and bigger tires (online) were basically custom trucks underneath.
