I have seen a couple hoods with the black like that. Did you do that yourself? Is it paint or is it rhino liner or something?

Wow, its 7 passenger. Did not know that.

Wanix-that is how the XD came, roof rack, brush guard (hes missing and looking for) hood black out, tail light gaurds, black rims and other mods that came from the factory.
You can buy those hood black out kits, I think Vigg Designs has them but not sure.
Just Google Land Rover hood black outs. Almost any Rover accessory supplier will have them.

Thats cool! Thanks for the info. Looks good with the yellow. Not sure how it would look on mine with that red/maroonish color.

I did a quick Photoshop blackout for CamDisco24 on his red Disco a while back. I don't think I have that pic anymore, but he might.

A good rule of thumb to consider with the hood blackout kit, is that it makes all Discoverys, regardless of color, 10% cooler.

Hope that helps.

yeah thanks everyone, i like it too... it has a few problems but i got it for pretty cheap so i was expecting it... as far as i can tell the main thing that i dont have that came with it is the front brushguard... the rims originally had a silver lip but i guess over time someone painted them, the spare still has the silver lip, i have the XD spare tire cover but its rather worn and i think i like it better off...
