Default A pillar

Had windshield replaced, and, aren't the inward seals of the A pillar supposed to seal against the new windshield?? I have a small gap that runs the whole length, 1/4 inch approx.

I can't envision what you are asking, but I just had my windshield replaced. Can you provide a picture?

if you are talking about the exterior, black pieces, then, yes. they should sit tight to the windshield.

Sorry, yes, I meant the exterior trim pieces. They replaced my windshield and did quite a shi%$y job. The seal on the trim should adhere to the new glass, right??

Correct, there should be no gap between the exterior a pillar trim and the glass. I assume they installed new trim pieces? They probably used crap aftermarket ones that don’t fit right.

I've had glass shops break and try to reuse the old ones, they ended up buying me new ones from the dealer, and I had Green Oval install them correctly. A well known issue.

My shop just covered up their mistakes. Didn't even replace the bottom seal, as it was flopping off from the windshield. Total sh&t job. Ruined my headliner, too. And they are the ones that installed my Turner engine. Why would they not admit they messed up??
