Default Planning on Buying the Cheapest Pads AB offers..

Planning to replace pads on my D1 and am going with the cheapest pads they offer..

$29.95 front
$37.95 rear

as they appear to look the most like the ones specified as Original Equipment, and the discriptions give absolutely no detail as to why one set is $29.95 and the other is $169.95

Quick somebody talk me out of it before I push the submitt button!!

Cheapest can be a real problem when being said along with Rover.
What sort of driving do you do? This can make a difference when buying brakes.

If there is a diffrence in the pads, why dont they bother to tell you what it is..

My personal theory is the 169.99 price is there so you can show your customers how expensive they are, while installing the 29.99 pads

Its a gambit.. has to be..
Ill let you know if they suck.. Trust me...
With the exception of EBC.. Which are illustrated with a Brake Sensor.. which I am convinced I do not have, 94 DI...
They dont even specify the manufacturer...

I would consider EBC, as Mercedes uses their brakes now, but will their be any improvement with stock rotors..

The only thing that cheaper pads will do is not last as long.
I eat brake pads for lunch on my FedEx van, every 4-6 weeks new pads on all four corners and new rotors when they are paper thin and have so many stress cracks that you can bend them by hand.
We have put the most expensive pads that you can buy for a Ford and the cheapest that you can buy.
The expensive ones are three times the price and dont even last twice as long, the cheapest ones last 4-6 weeks.
Which do you think I use?
You want to talk brakes talk to a FedEx delivery person.
