Nicely done! I did my roof with this stuff for the same clear coat issues and it is still holding strong after 3 years. I used Plasti Dip prior and it started to peel and crack after about 7 months, but for $72, one cannot complain! I too am in San Diego. By the way I have some Terra Firma Rock Sliders, Terra Firma Front Bumper, original radio, and a few other parts I am selling, so let me know if you are interested in checking them out.

I just did my wheels with the duplicolor paint shop single stage no mix paint. It came out really well. If you want to repaint the wheel, it's a pretty good option.
