So is there something that works and stays working when that area just eats the bulbs and rust out the connectors.

Ok I can do that is there any good mods to keep them in ?? And or solder them in so they don’t corrode over ?

I did the same thing and applied some connector grease over the contact points. Working great so far.

I put leds in mine too.
Could roast marshmallows above the door handle with the stock bulbs.
