I think the rover bumper market is *** rape....650 is sure better than over a thousand though....It doesnt look like you need to cut on center grill section to get a winch in? I likey

I think on the Terrafirma entry level bumper you have to cut a portion out of the front grill to install the winch? Correct me if Im wrong..

That is correct but it didn't bother me so much. I can see the appeal of not cutting, I just don't care for the brush guard and like the lower profile of the Terrafirma.

It's good that the Terrafirma one requires cutting, that's because of how tight it is to the body, which is a big benefit. You don't need to cut if you're not adding a winch.

The Terrafirma is sexy...

The lower part of the grill had to be trimmed all the way across with the Terrafirma..but Im sure all the aftermarket bumpers would need it?

Im not a fan of the brush guard/light mount either, but then again, Im not a super hard core 4x4'er out ram roddin the big bush! Or am I? lol

No trimming was required to mount my winch on the platinum. As far as ram rodding and bush goes, bah better leave this one alone.

Thanks for the pics, Grumpo. Looks really good on your truck. Another thing to add to my "goodie list".

I know this is an old thread, But please advice what winch you used, seems like it has a synthetic rope, and I like the fact that you didn't have to cut your grille. I am about to order this bumper, spoke with Eric today.
