Playing Cards in the Spokes!
I have a playing card in the spokes sound when I am accelerating! Any ideas? I don't know what else to say about it? It does get louder as I accelerate faster.
Thanks in advance guys, you are all a great help! Dan

Seriously, stop driving it before the u-joints snap and put a 6-7k dollar sized hole in your transmission. You need to have your front driveshaft replaced or rebuilt asap.
Search "propshaft" on here or any LR forum for that matter and see for you self the destruction these failures can wreck on your trans.

That is exactly what I was afraid it was... I have stopped driving it, as I knew that noise was not a good sound. Looks like the wife will be back to driving the 2010 Camaro instead of the Rover. How hard is a new one to install? I have a feeling I will be buying it from Silver!
start with the front, lay it on the ground, move to the back, have someone or something under to hold it so it doesn't fall on your head.
You can even get a nice tool to make it even easier, Land Rover Tools Probably other places on the interweb, this just happened to be the first one that popped up on Google.
no time at all. I replaced mine in the woods north of Telluride one night (actually we rebuilt in in the woods), drove to Moab and received my Tom Woods the next day. So technically, I "replaced" it in the parking lot of some motel in Moab.
Well attached are the pictures of my Drive Shaft that needs to be replaced.
I have been told that I am very lucky, cause I was given a nice noise as a warning. Looks like the D2 will be Driveway Anchor for awhile, probably tell after Christmas! Hope it doesn't snow tell then!

sounds like you lucked out and were blessed with a warning!
