Please Help, Hard Power Stearing & Leaking Disco 96
Hello, I have a Disco 96 and I just notice the steering wheel is getting harder and there is some fluid leaking. Can you please help me to find out what is really happening to my Disco? I will really appreciate your help and advice. Thank you.

Jenny-What Mike said is true, you have a power steering leak and you are low on fluid. Go to a autoparts store and ask for a quart of Dexron transmission fluid.
Open the hood, on the right side id a bottle, remove the top and there will be a little dipstick attached to the lid, fill the bottle until it reads full.

You are very kind, I really appreciate all your help. I just have one more question, can you give a little bit more instructions of which bottle/container is the one you mention in your reply, I will have my brother do it and I want to give him your instructions. Again, you are very helpful and kind, God Bless!

Open the hood and stand in front of the trk.
On your left will be the battery.
In the middle is the radiator.
On your right is a black bottle looking thing with two hoses coming out of it. It has a picture of a steering wheel on it.
Remove the top and pour in the Dexron until it is full.
Save the bottle of Dexron so that you can add next time it is low.
Check the power steering fluid level once a week, same time you check the engine oil, once a week.
If you drive the trk with the power steering fluid to low you will ruin your power steering pump.
Hope this answers your question.
