Question Please humor me on my SES

Okay, so I went out to my Disco yesterday and got a couple cranks out of it and the battery was dead. Oops. Anywho, after I got it jumped, the SES was on, and it read multiple cylinder misfires. Is that just because the coil's didn't have enough juice from the battery I'm assuming? She runs without a miss, but I figured I'd ask and see what ya'll thought.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Sorry, I should have added these ahead of time.

P0300 - Random/Multiple Misfire Detected
P0308 - Cyl 8 Misfire
P0301 - Cyl 1 Misfire
P0303 - Cyl 3 Misfire

I don't feel a miss or anything. She's been purring like a kitten all day today, but it's a Rover, so who knows what kind of tricks she has up her sleeve lol.

The battery didn't cause those codes. Remove the battery and have it charged for 2 hours, reinstall it then go have it tested at a local parts store. Voltage should be between 13.6 and 14.4 volts, what is your's?
Once the battery issue is resolved then you need to deal with the engine, when was it last tuned along with plug wires, what octane gas are you using?

Charged it overnight on the slow charger, and it started like a charm. Autozone said that the battery barely passed their test, so I'll be getting a new one before winter time hits. It runs at approx 14.2 volts.

Plugs were installed last month along with Magnecor 8mm wires.

I always use premium gas, however now that you mention it, I got $20 in gas from an off-brand station to get me home the other night. I'll fill 'er up with some Shell and a can of Seafoam tonight.

Thanks for your responses everyone!

Started her up today and the SES light wasn't shining in my face! Looks like it was just some bad gas (thank goodness!). Gotta love them mom 'n pop gas stations with stale gas!
