Default Port matching - 4.6 Bosch

Has anyone gone through the effort to match ports and clean up the runners on a 4.6? I'm in the process of repairing a burned exhaust valve, and thought while I had the heads off I would match the intake ports where upper IM meets lower IM, and where the IM meets the head. The inside of the runners have a sand cast finish, so I think a few passes with a flap wheel or flap ball would shine them up. Perhaps it's not worth the effort, but I've done it on a number of small block chevys and it seems to improve the gas mileage.
