Default Gearwrench set on sale at Napa

Napa has the 7 piece flex head combination wrench set on sale this month for $35, great deal. Yes they are made by danahar in tawain or china but they blow away craftsman in fit, finish and durability plus they have a lifetime warranty. I bought the SAE set for the rover and a metric set for everything else. It sucks danahar can make such great tools in china and taiwan for gearwrench but their USA made craftsman tools are falling off the cliff as far a quality goes. That's what happens when you try to compete with the foreign made "affordable" tools.

That is a great deal, I just went on line and looked at them, may have to run by the local store and get a set.

If you feel like spending a bit more time print out the ad and take it to Lowes they will price match it 110%. I like my local Napa so I just did not bother for the extra $3.50

Thanks for the heads-up on the price. I always thought the LR was metric instead of SAE???

I bought a set of these a couple years back and they are by far the handiest tools in my tool box. I recomend envesting in a set if you don't have them.

Pretty much most anything on the block is SAE so many things you would use a wrench on is SAE (like hose fittings). Plus other things like the driveshaft bolts are SAE. But most of the rest of the bolts are metric.

That's a great idea but I believe Lowes only carries them individually or in 13 piece sets.
