My Alveston Red 2003
She's lightly modded for how I use her. This is my Daily Driver and boat mover. I do roughly 25 miles a say commuting back and forth to work and I use her for moving my sailboats and getting my kayaks to those hard to find spots out in the Pine Barrens of Southern New Jersey.

01 SD White gold. 2" TF lift, 265/75 M/T tires, 11500 Super winch, custom bumper/brush guard/skid plate, CDL added, sleeping compartment/storeage platform inside, custom snorkel, custom rock sliders, TF drag link and tie bar, custom high-lift jack mount and a few other odds and ends. Many memorable camping trips, 35K of joyous miles and very limited drama. Gone, but not forgotten. Best money ($500.00) l've ever spent (well, besides my marriage licenses...in case my wife reads this...lol), bought as non-runner (front shaft had let loose and took out trans and y-pipe). Went to the scrap yard, after being stripped of anything valueable. Sold several items off her and donated a nice check to Wounded Warrior Project.
03 SE Bonatti gray, 3" - 2" TF/1" spacer lift, most of the accesories from the 01. Never finished, frame was rotted (which l planned on repairing) and it fought me at every turn and pissed me off one too many times...so it went bye-bye (scrapyard). Loved this color and this was going to be "the one". Planned on going to 285's and keeping her around for the long term. Loved the extra power of the 4.6. Paid $500.00 for this one, non-runner (ignition relay had fallen out, pushed relay back in and she started right up!), took off the brand new tires (BF Blizzards and nicer rims) and put them on my wife's 03 and engine went into our 04 (after rebuild/freshen up), sold a bunch of stuff and donated $250.00 to Wounded Warriors Project. So, although she never became "the one"...she went on to help others.
03 HSE Zambezi silver, completely stock (wife's daily). Replaced engine a few months after purchase, but has been literally trouble free for the last three years (jinx). Paid $4500.00 and an extra 1K for engine/trans/transfer case...although l only used the engine and kept rest for spares.
04 SE Clawton white, completely stock, bought as a non-runner (overheated/headgasket blown), but was super clean and frame was very nice shape for Michigan. Rebuilt the engine out of the 03 (Bonatti gray that was scrapped) and dropped it in. Basically my wife's back-up Dll...put about 1K on it after rebuild, daily driver for a month (ran great, double jinx)...then just about hit a deer...so, parked it in the garage and threw a cover over top. It will be ready if she ever needs. Paid $800.00 for this one, more than l usually would...but wife talked me into it.
Little over a year ago...
Nowadays...
Not sure if l'll ever build anoter Dll, however, my eye still goes to a nicely built one.

My truck is the one in the middle. Molybednite Ridge. I was very lucky on this trip. My differential starting failing right after we reached the trailhead on the way to another trail. Good thing I was near a highway then. I was finally able to crawl slowly back towards Vancouver which is still a couple of hours away.
This is my 15 year old when we spent last August in Alaska, Yukon, Northern Territories and Alberta. It was part of our attempt to make it to Tuktoyaktuk in the Artic.
I am lucky to have a contact who was able to fab my front and rear bumper design as one of his first projects when he was building his custom build business. He put alot of quality and attention to his work.
