Depending on how nice you want them that sound like a good price and option! You could always do it on the cheap with silver POR-15 top coat. It produces a near powder coat like finish. The surface should be rough so it sticks. It will self level to a nice shine and smoothness. Rock hard finish.

Never realized that it didn’t have the rub strip until you mentioned it. It was like that when I bought it in ‘08 from owner #3, a LR mechanic from Manchester.

$125/per is exactly what I was quoted from several shops in Austin. Must be the going rate.
